Feeding Instructions
Mix 200 lb with 1800 lb of course cracked or whole shell corn to produce a ration containing 30 g/ton of Monensin. Feed complete feed continuously as the sole ration at 20 lb per head per day to provide 50 to 300 mg Monensin per head per day. Provide mineral and salt free choice. Always provide a clean, fresh source of water.
CAUTION:
Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulations containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Do not feed to lactating dairy cattle. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gain may result. (Premixes and feed supplements). Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations of Monensin could be fatal to cattle. Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use; do not feed undiluted.
